FAQs
Recommended to Bring!
Long Socks, Helmet, Water Bottle, Backpack/Fanny Pack, Sunscreen, and a Plan For Storing Valuables
Do you have safety gear?
We have a small inventory of safety gear needed for skating. You can add helmets and knee/elbow pads upon arrival, but we do encourage you to bring your own.
Is there a refund for bad weather?
Skating on wet surfaces is not only dangerous, but impossible. Should there be inclement weather that makes skating dangerous, we will issue refunds based on the time of your reservation. Most organized events will have the following day as a rain make-up day. Contact us if you do not plan to attend the rain make-up day.
Does my shoe size work for skates?
For the most part. We recommend selecting the same size for skates as you would for your shoes. If for example you wear a size 10.5, we recommend a size 10 in skates.
How do I skate?
Skating is best learned over time with practice! Skate St. Louis is for those who want to learn a new skill. After a few rentals we hope you have the confidence to go and buy your own!
