Ever wanted to learn to skate but didn’t want to buy skates first? Or maybe you already skate and want to get more consistent and confident?

Join us for a 6-week Learn to Inline Skate at Webster Hills UMC Life Center from September 7 - October 12. Skate St. Louis will provide inline skates, helmets, and teach skating fundamentals and get you moving!

When: Monday Evenings | 50 Minute Sessions

Sep 7 | Sep 14 | Sep 21 | Sep 28 | October 5 | October 12

Where: 1333 W Lockwood Ave, St. Louis, MO 63122

Beginner | 5PM

Who: Ages 4-13. For those just starting out or have ice / inline skated less than 10 times. Beginner builds general coordination on inline skates and focuses on fundamental positions and movements. Athletes will progress to more complex movements over the 6-week program.

Intermediate | 6PM

Who: Ages 4-13. Those who successfully completed the Beginner Learn to Skate curriculum and more experienced skaters. Should be able to confidently complete the following drills: Forward Marching, Forward Glide, Forward Dips, Forward Toe Grabs, Forward Swizzle, Backward Skating and Glide, and Rocking Horses.

Adult | 7PM

Who: Ages 18+. Recommended for beginners and those who want to advance their backwards movements and transitions, single leg movements, crossovers, agility and weight placement.

More Information

All participants are required to wear a helmet to participate. Everyone should bring their own helmet, but in case they are unable to bring their own, Skate St. Louis will have helmets available at no extra charge.
